  My father died on 08/26/2016. I contcted Affordable Cremation to take care of my father's cremation. They showed up right away. I paid in advance all but the obituaries. They said they would handle everything. This did not happen. I had to call several times to get the obituaries typed up and submitted. Then the obituaries were placed in the newspapers with an earlier version that had been corrected and sent back to them. My father's birth date was wrong, several of the family's names were mispelled, along with other words mispelled. I was so embarrassed. My father was a Vet. I was told they would take care of getting his flag and a plague. I fill the paperwork out the first day they were there for these. I had to call to them three times before I did recieve the flag but never did get the plague. I was so stressed over the way they handled everything. I explained to another representative what had happen and how I could never get a hold of the lady that had initially handled the cremation. I was told how sorry he was that my family and I had to go through this trouble. But I still needed to pay $330.40 for a messed up obituary in order to get my father's ashs returned to me! So I paid. I requested that the owner contact me...he never did!
  This company may be affordable but by no means do I recommend them handling a funeral or cremation. It is already a difficult and emotional time for a family. It was unprofessional of them to add stress on top of it. They plainly had a lack of service and respect for my deceased father and my family!
